We’ve been building and renovating across the western GTA for years, from single-room refreshes to full custom builds. Whatever the size of the job, the standard is the same: done right, finished properly.
Gkap started with a single rule: finish what you start, and finish it properly.
Our first jobs came by word of mouth in Burlington and Oakville, and we did them right. Word travelled. Today we take on everything from single-room renovations to full custom builds across the western GTA, and much of our work still comes from clients and trades who pass our name along.
We’re not the cheapest contractor in the GTA, and we won’t pretend to be. We’re the contractor clients recommend years later, when the cabinet doors still close cleanly and the grout still looks new.
What we believe
Six rules. We don’t break them.
Show up when we said we would.
If we said Tuesday at 8am, we’re there at 7:55. If something changes, you hear it from us before you wonder.
Honest pricing, written down.
You get a fixed price, not an estimate that grows. If the scope changes, we put the change in writing and you sign before we touch it.
Clean site, every day.
End-of-day cleanup is non-negotiable. Vacuum, sheets folded, floors swept. Your home is still your home while we’re in it.
The unglamorous bits matter.
Caulk lines, trim returns, paint cuts. We finish details other contractors leave for the homeowner to fix.
Two-year workmanship warranty.
Anything we installed that fails. We come back, we fix it, no invoice. Ever.
Build the relationship, not the job.
Most of our work is repeat or referral. We act like we’ll see you at the grocery store next month, because we will.
